Michelle Williams was first seen as bad girl Jen Lindley in the famous television series Dawson's Creek in 1998. Following year she made her film debut with the comedy flick Dick in 1999. Since then, Michelle has found her way into the world of independent movies such as The Station Agent, Imaginary Heroes, and The Baxter. But she tasted real success in 2005 with Ang Lee's Brokeback Mountain as Alma Beers Del Mar, a woman who notices that her husband is in attached with another man. Her acting skills shown in Brokeback Mountain registered her Academy Award nomination and also huge praises from critics. It was in 2010, with the film Blue Valentine that she proved that she can deliver hits on her own. She followed the same and the following year she starred in My Week with Marilyn, which was an even bigger hit.
 
Michelle Williams is a single parent mother to a baby girl Matilda. Her husband was late Australian actor Heath Ledger.
