Nargis Fakhri is an American model and actress,who was born in the US. Her father is from Pakistan and her mother is from United States. Who was a former officer in the police department.At the age of 6, her father got divorced from her mother and she and her siblings faced the tough time. She was so beautiful since her childhood and at the age of 16, she started receiving the modeling offers. She appeared in many modeling events and from where she started gaining the popularity in the modeling world. In 2004, she participated in the US Next Top Model Reality Series.
In 2009, she appeared in the year 2009 Kingfisher Calendar and her photo was printed. After this calendar photo shoot, she came into limelight and were noticed by the Indian Films filmmakers and directors. She got her first to break in the Bollywood from the filmmaker Imtiaz Ali's film Rockstar opposite Ranbir Kapoor released in 2011. The people liked it very much and the movie hit the box office. For that film, she won the nomination under the category of Best Female Debut at Filmfare Awards. The year 2016, was the most successful year for her filmy career to give a new direction and helped to establish herself in the Bollywood film industry. In this year she was starred in some of the multistareer films such as Azhar, Housefull 3, Dhashoomand Banjo. In 2018, she was starred in Namrata Singh Gujral directed film 5 Weddings starring Rajkummar Rao and English actors such as Anneliese Van der Pol, Bo Derek, and Candy Clark. This film is based on the story of some American journalist travelled to India to attend the Indian wedding for featuring them on a magazine.
