Niki Taylor mother mailed her snaps to several modeling agencies when she was just 13. Soon she was hired by a modeling agency and started her modeling career. She did her maiden photo shoot while she was just 14. She was just 15 when she featured on the cover page of Vogue Magazine. She to date is the youngest model to have achieved that feat. The following year she signed a lucrative multi-million dollar contract with cosmetic brand L'Oreal and at 16, she was a millionaire. 
 
In her distinctive modeling career, she was signed as a face of brands like Nokia, Lee Jeans, Gap, and Pantene and featured on Sports Illustrated Issue as a swimsuit model among others. She advanced from model to a supermodel and kept on traveling from London to Paris to New York.
