Nuri Sahin started his football career at the early age of six for RSV Meinerzhagen. He played for the club for 7 straight seasons after which he was inked by professional club Borussia Dortmund in 2001. In August 2005, while he was just 16years and 334 days old, he debuted in Bundesliga, and thus became the youngest player to play in Bundesliga. The very same he also became the youngest player to have scored a goal in the Bundesliga.

 

In 2011, he was contracted to La Liga’s club Real Madrid for 6 years. He made his debut for Real Madrid as a substitute against the CA Osasuna club on 6th November 2011. In 2012 he made it to the playing eleven roster list against APOEl in the UEFA Champions League Quarter Final. He played his A game and was complimented by Mourinho and several newspapers. In 2012 he was transferred to Liverpool. In his five-month stint with Liverpool, he scored 3 and assisted 12 goals for Liverpool. From 2014 he is back with Bundesliga and his club Borussia Dortmund.

 

Shain has represented Turkey at International circuit and has done it in all capacities since under-16 level. He made his full-fledged international debut in 2005 and since then has represented his country in over 45 matches.
