Paula Lane Complete Bio & Career

Born in a village of Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, Paula was fond of acting since she was young. After completing her high school studies, she prepared herself to get enrolled in an acting school and as planned, she was accepted at the Central School of Speech and Drama, a prestigious acting school in London. 19 years old Paula was one of the best students of the school at that time. In 2008, she graduated from the school receiving 1st Class Honors Degree in Acting. Soon afterwards, she received an acting role in an episode of television series Heartbeat.
 
In the television series, she played the role of Wendy Kelshaw in an episode titled as School of Hard Knocks. In her early career she also made brief appearance in television series such as The Royal and Doctors. In 2010, Paula made her debut film appearance as Nurse Gemma through a short movie called War Wounds. The same year, she also appeared as a princess in a television movie Going Postal. That year, she also landed on her career’s most important role. She was featured in popular soap opera Coronation Street as one its regular cast member, Kylie Platt. Her role as Kylie Platt has been reprised in the spin-off Where’s Kylie? Following the success she achieved as Kylie Platt of Coronation Street, she has made guest appearance in various television shows such as Loose Women, All Star Mr & Mrs, All Star Family Fortunes and The Chase.
