Puja Gupta was interested in acting since a very early age. Hence, she decided to pursue her dream as soon as she was done with her schooling. She rose to stardom after she won Miss India Universe title in the year 2007. Eventually, she represented India at the Miss Universe competetion the very same year. She advanced till top 10 and this achievement of hers paved her way to modeling industry. 

 

She started off her career as a model and appeared in various ads like Marico’s Hair & Care, Monte Carlo, Pantaloons, and Lays among others. Finally, she got a role in the comedy film F.A.L.T.U. Thus she made her acting debut with this film in the year 2011. This film failed to make any impact at the box-office but she got recognised. A year later, she appeared in Shortcut Romeo. This film too was a disaster at the box-office. She then received a lot of applause for her performance in the Hindi film Go Goa Gone. However, she failed to attract the film makers after that and last appeared in the film Hate Story 3 in which, she did an item number. Since then she has not been seen in any film.
