Rainbow Rowell was born on 24-02-1973 in Omaha in the state of Nebraska, United States. She is an American Author, Writer, Novelist & Columnist.
Rainbow Rowell Complete Bio & Career
Rainbow began her career as a columnist in Omaha Herald in the year 1995. She was associated with the organisation for 17 years. She left the organisation in the year 2012 and started working for an ad agency. It was during this time that she started writing a novel to fulfil her hobby. The novel was named as ‘Attachment’. However, she stopped writing the novel in between due to personal reasons. The novel was published later.
It was in the year 2012, that she started writing her first young adult novel named Fangirl. She also wrote another novel Eleanor & Park and both the novels were published in the year 2013. It brought fame to Rainbow and both her works were appreciated. It was also named as the best young adult novel by the New York Times. Both the books were in the top 10 list of Amazon. The books will soon have a movie version as well for which she is writing the script. Soon Rainbow developed a flair for writing and published her fourth and first adult novel named ‘Landline’ in the year 2014. In the year 2015, she published her fifth novel ‘Carry On’. It is considered to be a sequel to her first book ‘Fangirl’. She has also written two fiction stories ‘Midnights’ and ‘Kindred Spirits’.
