Rajkumar Kohli Complete Bio & Career

Rajkumar Kohli’s actual name is Rajinder Kohli. He began his film career as a producer in the year 1972 with the superhit film Gora Aur Kala. He continued his successful career as a producer and also started directing films soon. He made his directorial debut with the Hindi film titled Kahani Hum Sab Ki in the year 1973. His directed and produced film Nagin in 1976 was a breakthrough film of his career. This movie was a huge box-office hit and was a trend setter of various similar types of films thereafter. This film had a star studded star cast which included actors like Feroz Khan, Sunil Dutt, Jeetendra, Kabir Bedi and Vinod Mehra and actresses like Reena Roy, Mumtaz, and Rekha. This film was also Mumtaz’s last film appearance. 
 
He continued making such films and his films Jaani Dushman too was a huge hit. He continued making films in the decade of the 1980s and 1990s as well. He launched his son Armaan Kohli though his film Virodhi in the year 1992. He made few more films with his son but couldn’t save his son’s sinking career and after the release of his Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani in 2002, he has not produced or directed any films.
