Renee Olstead Complete Bio & Career

She appeared in television commercials and films as a child actress since eight years of age. She is an Alma Mater of Central Stage Theatrical School. She appeared in the CBS television sitcom ‘Still Standing’ and won the ‘Best Performance in a comedy TV series- Supporting Young Actress’ at the Young Artist Awards in 2002. She was cast in the popular ABC television series ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager’. Olstead’s other television appearances include ‘The Midnight Game’, ‘ReUnited’, ‘Streets of Laredo’ and others.
 
In 2004, she released a self-titled album under the WB Records label which was well received and gained acclaim from critics. She performed with David Foster on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Her next album ‘Skylark’ was released in 2009. Her other albums are ‘Without You-EP’, ‘Stone Country’ and ‘Unleashed’.
 
In September 2011, there was a controversy regarding the cell phone hacking and leak of nude photographs of over 50 celebrities including Olstead, Scarlett Johansson and others. Renee Olstead had stated that she had attempted suicide post the controversy in a court trial.
 
She is an animal rights activist and promotes veganism.
