Richard always had creative inclination; uniquely he worked as a Whale handler in Marine show before coming into the field of acting. He even worked as a performer at a medieval dinner theater. He was even a street juggler and meme.
 
Multitalented Richard had his first role of “Dr. Jeff Webber” in the American soap opera “General Hospital”. Anderson rose to fame after he played the lead role in the super hit television series “MacGyver” which had a successful seven-year run from 1985 to 1992.
 
Anderson has even produced six of his own shows “Legend”, “Firehouse” being a few of them. Anderson never left his love for music and composed a song “Eau d’Leo” for the episode “The Negotiator” of the “Macgyver”. Along with Michael Greenburg, he founded production firm “Gekko Film Corporation”.
 
Compassionate Richard wholeheartedly supports the Special Olympics, supports the “Waterkeeper Alliance” which is an organization that works at eradicating water pollution and is even a member of the Board of Advisors for the “Sea Shepherd Conservation Society”.
