Richard T. Jones Complete Bio & Career

He enrolled at Tuskegee University and there he joined a drama class and became interested in acting. He got a role in the play A Raisin in the Sun and it was after this role that he made up his mind to become an actor rather than the lawyer which was his original plan.
 
Richard made his acting debut at the age of 21 with a petty role in the movie titled Helicopter in 1993. Since then he acted in numerous movies but came to limelight after his performance in the 2004 release Collateral. His performance in the film was well received and after which he starred in several hit films like Guess Who, Why Did I Get Married?, Godzilla and Concussion. His upcoming film is A Question of Faith.
 
Along with films, he has been a regular feature on television. After making his small screen debut in 1993 with the show California Dreams in 1993 he has appeared in several series from the mid-90s. He rose to prominence with his role as Bruce Van Exel in the 1999 television series Judging Amy. After which he has been a regular feature on television and some of the famous series of whom he has been a part of our Sex, Love & Secrets, Las Vegas, Nikita, and Narcos to name a few.
