Robert Barton Englund is a film and stage actor, singer, voice actor as well as director of America. Serial killer Freddy Krueger is considered his one of the best performance in the film series of the Nightmare on Elm Street. In the 1977 film Star Wars, he was briefly cast in the part, named Han Solo. He had acted in the films Eaten Alive, Galaxy of Terror and so on. He had appeared over 100 films and television. He usually played as a nerd in his earlier films. His first big break was in the 1983 Miniseries V, also he had gained attention in 1984 Sequel V: The Final Battle and V: The Series.
 
Robert Englund accepted the challenging role of Freddy Krueger role from the successful film A Nightmare on Elm Street 1n 1984. This role had given him a big fame. He had associated with the Films like The Phantom of the Opera (1989), The Mangler (1995), 2001 Maniacs (2005). Freddy vs. Jason (2003) to name a few. In eight consecutive films, he had acted a horror character.
 
Robert Englund is also a director and he had made his directorial debut in the horror film 976-EVIL in the year 1988. He has also given television appearances many times such as in Nightmare Café (1992) and so on. In the science fiction series Babylon 5, he had appeared in a guest role. In Justice League, he had given his voice in voice-over animation. He had also given his voice on The Batman, The Spectacular Spider-Man and on The Super Hero Squad Show. Englund has hosted a “Nightmare on Elm Street” marathon on February 2016 in the EI Rey Network.
