Samir Nasri Complete Bio & Career

Samir Nasri made his professional football debut in the 2004-05 seasons while representing Marseille. He though came on the field as a substitute in 11 out of 13 games and was only able to score a sole goal for his team in his debut season. But one thing was for sure that his coaches and team management noticed that he is way ahead of his time and this 17-year-old lad will definitely have a great future. The next season, he came with a purpose and scored two goals for his team. His experience with Marseille helped him gain experience to play in the Coupe de France and UEFA Cup.
 
Samir was awarded the UNFP League 1 Young Player of the Year award in the year 2007 after a public voting went in favor of him. Though players like Dimitri Payet, star footballer Karim Benzema and Jimmy Briand were also in the race. He accumulated 62% of the total votes.
 
Samir by now became a hot property and was now transferred to English football clubs team Arsenal in 2008. Samir soon kicked his maiden goal in the English Premier League against opponent West Bromwich Albion. It was because of his netted goal that his team won that match 1-0. He was the first one to score a goal in the 2008-09 Premier League season. Samir for his heroics was named ‘the New Zinedine Zidane’ of football.
 
After playing for three years for Arsenal, Samir was finally transferred to Manchester City for a transfer fee of 23 million Pounds. After playing five years for them, Samir was now transferred to La Liga club Sevilla for an undisclosed amount in August 2016.
