In the year 2009, Shaik made a ramp walk in 8 shows in the city of New York. Later, she was made to open Yeohlee and then walked for designers such as Shipley, Abaete, Lorick, Richie Rich, and much more. After this, she earned the score card in the second season for summer 2010. In the same year, she walked for the Project runway and Bebe. Additionally, she has appeared in many catalogs such as Intermix, Free People, Lovable, Avon, Alloy, Shop Bop, and much more. 

 

Most prominently, Shanina signed a contract with the New York Model Management. Then she got an opportunity to appear in the editorials such as Men’s Health and Seventeen Magazine. In 2011, she moved to NEXT Model Management from New York Model Management as well as to Chic Model Management from Chadwick Model Management. However, she became well recognized for Italian lingerie – Intimissimi as well as Australian shoe brand – RMK. 

 

Subsequently, she got a brilliant opportunity to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in which she was ranked to be the 6th Australian model in the show. Most evidently, she has taken part in the print work of Bonds and Victoria’s Secret. Additionally, she did a shooting along with Vogue Australia. Shanina has become a brand ambassador for the company Just Jeans and has modeled along with Sonny Bill Williams. Also, she has made the cover of Harper’s Bazaar and Cleo.
