Shomi Kaiser was born on 15 January. She is an actress and a producer from Bangladesh. She very well knew Noakhali Dialect owing to which she got selected for the play named, Keba Apon Keba Por. Director named Atiqul Haque Chowdhury selected her. After that, she worked in a play titled, Joto Durey Jai. The play was directed by Abdullah Al Mamun and was based on a novel which was written by Imdadul Haque Milon.
 
Besides this, she acted in numerous plays like Chhoto Chhoto Dheu, Ekjona, Ariyana, Swapno, Thikana, Nakkhotrer Raat, and others. She also served a theatre named, Dhaka Theatre for 12 Years. She along with her co-star named, Shahiduzzaman Selim played Haat Hodai. She began doing films after this. She did a film in 2002 named Hason Raja. Her next film was titled Lalon which got released in 2004. She also did a movie based on the life of Ritwik Ghatak titled Ekti Nadir Naam. She also made her mark in the industry as a producer. She runs her own production company named Dhansiri Production. Films that she produced were Mukti and Antorey Nirantor. Later on, her firm got a license for a radio channel named Radio Active.
 
She also served as the director of the organization named, Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry in 2017.
