Suresh Oberoi was born on 17-12-1946 in Quetta in the state of Balochistan, Pakistan. He is an Indian Film Actor, Voice Artist, Model, Television Ator & TV Host who known for his work in Hindi, Kannada, French and Telugu films.

After partition, he along with his family moved to Hyderabad where they started a chain of medical stores. He went to St. George's Grammar School. He was swimming and Tennis champion during school days and even as a Boy Scout won the President’s Award. After his school finished, he joined the pharmacy chain business.He is good at Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, English, Punjabi and Telugu languages.
Suresh Oberoi is a popular Indian actor from Hindi Cinema and TV industry. He was blessed with a good voice and was interested in acting. He entered on stage plays, radio shows. He later joined the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune. With the prior experience of shows, he received contracts and he worked for advertisement agencies. He worked as a model for ‘Lifebuoy soaps’ and ‘Charminar cigarettes’.
He made his movie debut in 1978 with a film’ Ek Baar Phir’. He worked in ‘Mukaddar Ka Sikandar’ a radio program. He was featured in movie ‘Laawaris’. He has been part of around 135 movies till date with an average of 4 to 5 movies per year. He also worked in television shows Kashmeer, Dhadkan and Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai. He dubbed for the role of ‘Mufasa’ in an animated movie ‘The Lion King’.
He also acted in movies in other languages such as Phul Debi (Bengali movie), Marana Mrudangam(Telugu film), Manika, Une Vie Plus Tard (French film), Puraido: Unmei no Toki (Hindi/English/Japanese film) and Attahasa (Kannada Film). His role of host of the Zee TV show ‘Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai’ was appreciated by the audience for his clear voice. He is an uncle of another Bollywood actor Akshay Oberoi. Apart from acting and singing, he loves to write philosophical and romantic poetry.
