Tanya Sharma was born and raised in New Delhi. She made her acting debut through television series Afsar Bitiya in the year 2011. This was the beginning of what was going to be a remarkable career. She is a regualr feature in Indian television industry and was highly praised for her portrayal of Meera Modi in the much acclaimed series Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. She was a part of the series from 2015 till it concluded in 2017. She was recently seen in the television series Laal Ishq and is currently working in the television series Udaan. She has also appeared in the Telugu film Love States in the year 2015.
