She is a well-known celebrity in Southern India. She is a professionally trained and established Bharatanatyam dancer. She took training in dance under the tutelage of great “Jayalakshmi Kandiah”. She even attended the Sydney based “Natanalaya Dance Academy”. This beautiful lady from Australia, before joining films had won 2004s’ “Miss India Australia” and in 2005 won the title of “Miss India Worldwide- Beautiful Face”.
 
She started her Career with Tamil movie named “Poi” directed by Kailasam Balachander in 2005 which got instant recognition and appreciation for her work. Soon after in 2007 came her Malayalam film debut with the movie “Time” opposite Southern Star “Suresh Gopi”. She has done over 22 Films in various languages. She has worked with almost all the superstars of Malayalam film industry. She was last seen in Telugu film Om Namo Venkatesaya. She is currently filming for Malayalam film Bilathikadha. In addition to South Indian language films, she has also acted in Hindi film Mumbai Mirror.
