Virgil abloh was a very known professional American entrepreneur and fashion designer. His Father's Nee Abloh managed a paint company and his Mother Eunice Abloh was a tailor. His birthplace is Rockford, Illinois. He was also the chief executive officer of the Milan-based label Off-White.
He did a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He went on to study architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He studied architecture and designed T-shirts. He wrote on design and fashion for The Brilliance, a renowned blog. He first met famous musician Kanye West and worked on his designs in a print shop in Chicago.
He worked for an architecture firm for two years. He then shifts focus to fashion. He founded RSVP Gallery, an art gallery and menswear boutique in Chicago. He joined Kanye West’s creative agency Donda as creative director. He is running his fashion brand named Abloh DJs under the alias Flat-White. He launched the luxury men’s and women’s streetwear label Off-White.
In 2012, He launched his first fashion brand, Pyrex Vision, which screen-printed logos onto Champion t-shirts and deadstock Ralph Lauren rugby shirts 2012. He collaborated with Matthew Williams and Heron Preston as part of a collective called Been Trill. He married Shannon Sundberg. He was the artistic director of the Louis Vuitton menswear collection. He died after cancer at the age of 41.
