In spite of his young age, he is been nominated for the category of Young Artist Award & Leading Young Actor Award for three times. He played the role of Greg Heffley by putting his maximum efforts in the movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid. His performance in this movie has made him extremely popular among the crowd as well as the industry. The story is completely based on the Jeff Kinney’s book – Diary of a Wimpy Kid which is the number 1 top-notch seller in New York Times. This movie became the number 1 box office movie in the United States which received a maximum number of positive critics. 
 
Later, in the year 2011, e got a chance to lend his voice to the roles Linus, Charlie Brown, and Franklin in the comedy-drama show – Robot Chicken.
