Girish Oak is a legendary Marathi film and television actor. He has obtained his graduate degree in medicines. Since college days, he has been assoiciated with theatre and hence even after completing degree, he decided to become an actor. He started off his career by acting in Marathi stage plays. He made his silver screen debut through Marathi film Jasa Baap Tashi Pora in the year 1991. Since then, he has acted in nearly 25 Marathi films. He was last seen in Marathi film Cappuccino in the year 2014.
In addition to silver screen, he is also one of the most sought after stars of Marathi television series. He has performed in some of the most acclaimed Marathi shows such as Pasant Ahe Mulgi, Kukuchaku, Eka shwasacha aantar, and Fu Bai Fu among others.
