Harsha Bhogle Complete Bio & Career

Harsha Bhogle completed his school level education from Hyderabad Public School, Hyderabad. After which, he obtained his B.Tech degree from the famous Osmania University's College of Technology.  For post-graduation, he enrolled at the coveted management school, IIM-A from where he acquired PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) degree.
 
Soon after the completion of his studies, he was employed at an advertising agency where he worked for two years. Following this, he joined a sports management company and was employed there for two years. Bhogle’s stint with cricket commentary started with All India Radio when he was just 19 years of age.  He was invited by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation to do commentary for India’s series in 1991-92. Post which, he worked for Australian Broadcasting Corporation Radio Grandstand on all of India’s tours to Australia.  He also worked for 8 long years for BBC and was one of the commentators during the 1996 and 1999 Cricket World Cups.
 
He began presenting live cricket for the ESPN STAR Sports network in 1995. He has also presented all the seasons of IPL except the 1st and 9th seasons. He has also worked as a cricket analyst for the CNN-IBN Network. He was voted as the most loved cricket commentator across the globe at a poll conducted by cricinfo.com. He is also a cricket expert for the website cricbuzz.com.
 
Besides cricket commentary, he has hosted various other television shows like Harsha Unplugged, Harsha Online, and Out of the Box with Harsha Bhogle among many other shows.
 
He has also authored few books like the biography of Mohammad Azharuddin and along with his wife, he has penned down a book titled The Winning Way. His articles are published in a book titled Out of the Box.
