Mohena Singh relocated to Mumbai at a very early age. She studied at Villa Theresa High School in Mumbai. She then enrolled at Jai Hind College in Mumbai. She finally obtained her graduate degree from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. After graduation, she made her acting debut through television series Dil, Dosti, Dance in the year 2011. The following year she participated in Dance India Dance Season 3. She came to limelight after she played the role of Kirti Goenka in the long running television series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain.
While in College, she learned Jazz and Kathak. She also served as choreographer of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Ja in season 6,7, and 8.She is also highly popular on social media and has nearly a million follower on Instagram as well.
