Parag started his professional career as an assistant cook in Norwegian Cruise Line in 1998 after the completion of his graduation. For next several years, he worked with various Europe's cruise line as a chef. After working for almost 10 years in Europe, he returned back to India and started participating in cooking shows. He participated as a contestant in the Marathi cooking realtiy show titled Mejwani.
In 2015, he registered his name in Limca book of records and Guinness Book of World Records after he cooked a three course meal blindfolded. In 2017, he started his YouYube channel titled 'Kitchen Sutraa' in which, he posts travelling and cooking videos. He participated in Bigg Boss Marathi season 2 in the year 2019.
