Priya Tendulkar was a well-established and well-known Indian Film as well as TV actress. She was a fiery social activist, too. She did her graduation in Political Science and possessed a diploma in painting. She had an attractive personality and contributed far enough to the industry. She has a penchant for art and culture. Apart from these beautiful attributes, she was highly religious and loved cooking.

She made her debut in a stage play HayaVadan (1969) in which she portrayed a role of a doll. Before finally making it into the TV and film industry, she did a variety of jobs from being a receptionist in a 5-star hotel to an air hostess, and a part-time model.

She did a handful number of teleserials but gained a huge popularity through them. Her best-known TV serial was Rajani, in which she performed a role of a housewife who could tackle public problems and voice out whenever any injustice was caused. After this, she became a household name grabbing everyone’s interest. She was offered roles by Marathi, Gujrati and Hindi producers after the terrific performance.
