She has been engaged with theatre since a long time and is a renowned theatre director. She co-authored her husband Ayushmann Khuranna's biography titled Cracking the Code: My Journey in Bollywood in the year 2015. She has also directed a short film titled Toffee in the year 2018. In 2018, she got diagnosed with Breast Cancer but is now fine.
