Theodore Roosevelt was born on 27-10-1858 in Manhattan, New York City in the state of New York, United States. He was an American 26th President from 1901-1909, Explorer, Author, Naturalist, Soldiers, Historian, Conservationist, Politician, Writer, Essayist, Autobiographer, Hunter, Governor, Vice President & Army Officer.

Theodore Roosevelt Jr was an American author, soldier, explorer, statesman and former president of United States.He was also Vice President for U.S and served as a Governor for the New York City.He was suffering from asthma and was having poor health during initial days.He was taught at home by his parents.He started learning boxing for self-defense after one incident.He was a bright student.He was a nature lover and had formed Metropolitan Museum of Art in childhood.Later he attended Harvard College where he studied biology.He attended Columbia Law School and his interest in politics increased while writing his book War of 1812 which was published in 1882.
 
He worked on re-energization of a legislative investigation into a government of New York City's corruption while serving as an assembly member of the city.He became a cowboy for some period.He wrote "The Winning of the West" book which gave him a fame. Till 1895, he served for the United States Civil Service Commission and then as a commissioner of police in New York. In 1897, he was appointed as Assistant Secretary of the Navy. After resigning from the secretary post, 'First US Volunteer Cavalry Regiment' was formed by him.
 
He was aggressive personality and didn't want any powerless post but he was appointed as Vice President of United States in 1900.He became President of the U.S after the previous president McKinley was killed.He worked on many important issues such as Coal strike 1902, Prosecuted misconduct and corruption, railroads, Meat Inspection Act of 1906, Conservation of natural resources.He made active changes in foreign policies.He again won Presidential elections in 1904.He decided not to continue with the third term.But he remained active in politics and the other activities.He was involved in many campaigns for the Progressives in 1914.In 1919, he had a breathing problem and was treated for the same and was feeling better.But he died on the very next morning at the age of sixty.
