Abhimanyu Dasani was born to an actress mother and hence from a very young age decided to be an actor one day. After obtaining his degree in finance, he went to New York Film Academy to do an acting course. After returning to India, he started assisting veteran director Rohan Sippy. He assisted him in his films such as Dum Maaro Dum and Nautanki Saala.
He finally made his acting debut through Ronnie Screwvala's action comedy film titled Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota in 2019. The film was critically acclaimed and he too was praised for his performance. The film won People's Choice Award at the Toronto Film Festival but failed to make any impact at the box-office. He will be next seen in the film titled Nikamma opposite debutant Shirley Setia. The movie is scheduled to release in mid 2020.
