Abhishek Krishnan famously known by Abhishek K Nair, The Co-producer of Award-winning short film "Chhotu” is a graduate from Atmiya Institute of Technology and Science, Rajkot. Currently, he is Managing Director of a well-reputed organization established in Gujarat. He deals with refineries and petrochemicals. Films and especially acting, It has been Mr. Krishnan’s interest since childhood. From watching typical Bollywood content on TV and cinema-halls to enjoying world cinema on Amazon and Netflix, Abhishek has generated great passion to support Young passionate filmmakers to create true quality films of various genres. That’s where when he finally decided to start his journey in motion picture business. He met young theatre team of Jamnagar known as “Apoornaviram”. Team Apoornaviram introduced him to Mr. Raghav Diwan. Raghav had already worked as Magician in Jamnagar. The magic worked and Muvizz.com came on board to produce a short film about street magicians.
His debut short film “Chhotu” as producer is directed by another debutant Aditya Agnihotri. The film has been doing really well in various national and international film festivals such as LosAngelisCinefest, Miami Independent Film Fest, Filmsaaz, Virgin spring cinefest.It stars ‘I am she’ awardee SheenaChuhan and young YouTube sensation Raghav Diwan. The film has also got the support from the major film fraternity such as Ashish Kulkarni, Prakash Jha, Devashish Makhija, Pawan Sharma. Mr.Abhishek is now looking to form a film production house where he would back and support young film talents and as well as experienced customers of different streams of cinema. He has also backed some quality south Indian films.
