Abhishek Pathak Complete Bio & Career
Abhishek Pathak began his career while he was in his teens. He used to work in his father's production company. After working with them for 3 years, he went to New York and did a course in film making from the prestigious New York Film Academy to effectively execute his passion.
He had a vision of making films which are unconventional but at the same time are commercially viable as well. He started off by producing a short fiction film "Boond" which won various awards including the prestigious 57th National Film Award. His Bollywood debut production film was "Pyaar Ka Punchnama" which became a smashing hit at the box-office.He then came up with the horror film "Alone" being first non franchise horror film. The film was highly praised but was not well recieved at the box-office. In 2015, he came up with the second installment of Pyaar ka Punchnama titled Pyaar ka Punchnama 2. He then produced the Ajay Devgan starrer film Drishyam which was a remake of a blockbuster Malayalam film. His latest film Ujda Chaman which released in 2019 was appreciated by the critics but couldn't collect numbers from the box-office.
