Duddala did his primary and higher school studies from Rishi Valley School Madanapally Chittoor district. He did his aeronautical engineering from Hyderabad "Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University". When he was in his final year of engineering, he was approached by Sekhar Kammula's team asking him for the audition of the film Life Is Beautiful. His name was selected for audition just by seeing him on social media site.It was his first debut film in Telugu language released in 2012. From his debut movie, he became a star overnight because this film did substantial business at the box office and collected Rs 22 crores in his very first week to declare as the super hit film.
In the subsequent time, he was starred in the films "2014-Mirchi Lanti Kurradu" and Ram- Leela in 2015. In 2017 he was cast in the Web series named Pelli Gola and also in the sequel of the web series Pelli Gola-2 in 2018.
