Abrar Ahmed, Pakistani international cricketer was born and grew up in Karachi. He plays for the Pakistan national cricket team as a bowler. He got his professional cricket training from the Rashid Latif Cricket Academy in Karachi. He trained by former cricket and qualified coach Muhammad Masroor.
He made his T20 debut on 10-02-2017 for Karachi Kings against Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai International Cricket Stadium (DICS) in Dubai. He made his First-class debut on 20-11-2020 for Sindh cricket team against Southern Punjab (Pakistan) at Karachi. He made his List A debut on 11-11-2021 for Pakistan Shaheens against Sri Lanka A at Dambulla.
He made his Test debut on 09-12-2022 for Pakistan against England at Multan. In which, he completed his five wicket haul, and became the first Pakistani bowler to do it in first season. He also ranked the No.13 Pakistani bowler to take five-wicket haul on Test debut. He made his T20I debut on 18-04-2024 for Pakistan against New Zealand at Rawalpindi. He made his ODI debut on 26-11-2024 for Pakistan against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo. He took four wickets for 33 runs. In 2025 Asia Cup, he received much apprecation for his bowling against Sri Kanaka, and noted his 1/8 as a T20 Asia Cup record-low four-over return.
