Adith Arun is a talented Telugu and Tamil actor. He has a great command of both the languages. Born as the only son to his parents in Vizag, he did his schooling there and pursued journalism in areas Christian College. On a semi-professional level, he did over twenty shows and several short films for Madras Players and Boardwalkers.
Arun, during an audition for Inidhu Inidhu – the Tamil version of the2007 Telugu film Happy Days, met producer Prakash Raj. Raj helped Arun meet other producers which lead to Arun signing up the Telugu thriller Katha. It was his Telugu debut in 2009. Along with Genelia D’Souza, he did an amazing job with the film. In 2010, he signed in for Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey with Regina Cassandra (who was his co-star in the short film Kadhalil Sodhapppuvadhu Eppadi) by Balaji Mohan but was replaced by Aari and Shubha. Indhu Indhu released in the same year and became a box office failure as was his film Theneer Viduthi. His 2014 film Weekend Love was also a box office disaster and his Telugu fill Tungabhadra produced by Sai Korrapati (2015) went down the hill in a similar way. Though his acting was appreciated, the films did not attract a lot of audiences.
In the 2009 film Katha he played the role of Krishna, in Indhu Indhu (2010) he played as Siddarth, Kumaran in the2011 Theeneer Viduthi, Ganesh in Weekend Love, Srinu in Tungabhadra and Arvind in Thangamagan. He is working on a bilingual film Orey Nyabagam in Tamil / Nee Vajpey in Telugu. It claims to be the world’s first 2D HFR film. Arun has been optimistic about leaving a mark on the Tollywood as well as the Kollywood. He is also filming L7 and Podu Nalan Karudhi currently.
