Aditi Rao Hydari Complete Bio & Career
Aditi Rao Hydari belongs to a royal family. She started her stint with dancing from an early age of 6. She became a follower of the noted dancer named Leela Samson. She completed her school level education from Rishi Valley School in Madanapalle. She attended the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi and obtained her graduate degree from there.
She made her acting debut with the Malayalam film Prajapathi in the year 2006. She then got an opportunity to showcase all her dancing skills after she was cast in Sharada Ramanathan’s Tamil film based on classical dance titled Sringaram in 2007. She played the lead character and won herself various accolades. She made her Bollywood debut with a brief role in the Hindi film 'Delhi 6' in 2009. She then was cast in the multi-carrier film Yeh Saali Zindagi in which she was cast opposite Arunoday Singh. The film was critically praised and her performance too was well received.
Since then, she has featured regularly in Bollywood films playing the lead, supporting or cameo roles in films such as Rockstar, Boss, Guddu Rangeela, Wazir, and Bhoomi among others. In 2017, she was seen in the Tamil film 'Kaatru Veliyidai' as Leela Abraham opposite Karthi. In 2018, she appeared in the Bollywood historical drama film 'Padmaavat' as Mehrunisa (first wife of Sultan Alauddin Khalji). She also made her Telugu debut with film 'Sammohanam' in 2018 as Sameera opposite Sudheer Babu. Next, she was seen in Telugu films such as Antariksham 9000 KMPH, V, and Maha Samudram. Sha also seen in Tamil films such as Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, Psycho, and Hey Sinamika. She also appeared in Malayalam film 'Sufiyum Sujatayum' in 2020. In 2021, she was seen in the Bollywood films such as The Girl on the Train, Ajeeb Daastaans, and Sardar Ka Grandson.
In 2023, she appeared in web series Taj: Divided by Blood as Anarkali, and Jubilee as Sumitra Kumari. In 2024, she was seen in the Hindi web series titled 'Heeramandi' as Bibbojaan opposite Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and others. Next, she will be seen in the Bollywood film Parivarik ManuRanjan, and an English film Lioness.
