Aditya Srivastava was born on 21-07-1968 in Prayagraj in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. He is an Indian Film Actor, Television Actor, Model, Voice Artist & Theatre Actor who is known for his work in Bollywood movies & Hindi television series. He is best known as Senior Inspector Abhijeet in the popular police procedural television serial "CID".

Aditya Srivastava Complete Bio & Career

Aditya did his schooling at MGS Inter College, Sultanpur, UP. Then, he attended the University of Allahabad, UP from where he completed his graduation. From his college days, he used to participate and perform at Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. He learned basic acting skills from this academy while playing roles in many plays. After passing college, he decided to go to Mumbai and start his acting career. 
 
In 1994, he made his Bollywood debut with the film 'Bandit Queen' directed by Shekhar Kapur. The film was based on the biography of Phoolan Devi. He played the character named Puttilal. Then, he moved to Mumbai permanently. In 1996, he played an important role in the film Sanshodhan which was based on the reservation of women in government sectors. In 1998, he appeared in three films consecutively which were Hazaar Chaurasi ki Maa, Satya, and Dil Se.. .
 
In 1999, he was offered to be a part of police procedural show C.I.D. telecasting on Sony Entertainment. The makers of the show were impressed by his role as police inspector in the film Satya. He has been a part of the show for many years. The other films and series of his career are Saathiya, Paanch, Mudda, Ek Haseena Thi, Aalwar, Gulal, Kaalo2, Super 30, Raat Hone Ko Hai, Jeena isi Ka Naam Hai, The Kapil Sharma Show, Adaalat eand many more.
