Akhil was born as Mohamed Farook Meer Abdul Razak on 03-05-1988 in Dindigul in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. He is an Indian Film Actor who known for his work in Tamil films.

Akhil Complete Bio & Career

Akhil made his cinematic debut by acting in the Balaji Shakthivel’s coming of age Tamil film titled Kalloori in 2007. The film was a huge hit and was well received. For his performance, he won nominations for Best Debut Actor at the Vijay Awards. He had to wait for two years until Valmiki released in 2009. The film though was a failure at the box-office and also received negative reviews by the critics. 
 
He was looked upon as the new promising star of Tamil cinema after his first release but all his film after his debut films took a dig at the box-office and most of his films also getting delayed not helping his cause either. He was last seen in Tamil film Pagadi Aattam and is currently filming for Padai Veeran in which he will be playing a supporting actor role.
