Amberdeep Singh Complete Bio & Career

Amberdeep Singh is a well known Indian Screenplay Writer, Director, Dialogue Writer, and Actor. He is known for his work in Punjabi film industry. He went to Senior Secondary School, Abohar, Punjab for his schooling and then attended DAV College, Abohar, Punjab and Punjabi University, Patiala for his further education. He has completed his degree in Bachelor of Commerce and Masters in Theatre and Television. He was interested in writing since childhood. His father was a journalist which made writing attractive for him. He likes wrestling and used to take part in wrestling competitions during school days, but he left it due to injuries. He shifted to Mumbai for perceiving his film career.
 
He made his debut as a writer in  TV industry with 2007 show ‘Chaldi Da Naam Gaddi’ featuring Suhasini Mulay, Ravi Gossain, Ruby Oza, Dakssh Ajit Singh and many more. He wrote his first film script for the movie ‘Chak De Phatte’ in 2008.The movie cast well-known actors like Jaspal Bhatti, Mahie Gill, and Gurpreet Ghuggi. After this movie, he has been continuously working and penned many super hit films such as Jatt & Juliet 2, Goreyan Nu Daffa Karo, Viyah, Angrej, Sarvann, Love Punjab etc. He won PTC award for the movie ‘Daddy Cool Munde Fool’ in Best Dialogue category in 2013. The movie ‘Goreyan Nu Daffa Karo’ fetched him the best screenplay award in 2015.
 
He made a move in his career and turned to direction, making debut with 2017 Punjabi film ‘Lahoriye’. He has also worked as an actor and his debut film was ‘Love Punjab’ in 2016. He would be seen in a lead role in his own directed the comedy-drama movie ‘Laung Laachi‘ in 2018. Neeru Bajwa would be seen in a female lead role along with Amrit Maan, Veet Baljit, and Ammy Virk playing important roles.
