Anand Babu was born on 30-08-1963 in Chennai in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. He is an Indian Film Actor who best-known for his work in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam Cinemas.

Anand Babu Complete Bio & Career

Anand Babu was born in a family of actors and hence was destined to be an actor. He made his acting debut through the Tamil film Thangaikkor Geetham in the year 1983. He was cast alongside veteran Tamil actors like Vijaya T, Sivakumar and Nalini. The movie was a blockbuster hit and he got widest acclaims for his performance. He played various leadership roles in films after that. However, his decline as an actor started due to his unprofessional behavior on the sets and addiction to alcohol. He was even hospitalized in the year 2006 and made a comeback in films in 2009 after a break of almost 10 years.
 
He started his new innings by playing character roles in Tamil films like Oliyum Oliyum and Etho Seithai Ennai. In addition to Tamil, he gave occasional appearances in Telugu films as well and has also acted in 1 Malayalam film called Chevalier Michael. Recently he made his small screen debut with the Tamil television series called Mouna Ragam which is aired on Vijay TV.
