Anirban Lahiri was born on 29-06-1987 in Pune in the state of Maharashtra, India. He is an Indian Golfer.

Anirban Lahiri Complete Bio & Career

Anirban Lahiri started playing golf at the young age of 8 in 1995 and 12 years later in 2007, he turned professional golfer.  Prior to becoming a pro, he was twice being crowned as the National Champion. He after a slow start to his professional career made 2015 his own by winning various international titles and has garnered global attention with his game.
 
He started 2011 on a high with already registering five fins on the Asia Tour. He finally qualified for the European Tour in 2014 through a qualifying school.  In 2015, he lifted the Maybank Malaysian Open crown for the first time. After which, he defeated the ace Indian golfer SSP Chawrasia and lifted the Hero Indian Open title. He continued his good form and finally became the first ever Indian to finish a major PGA tour in top 5 after he finished fifth at the 2015 US PGA Championships. To date, he is the only Indian to receive the honour of being named in the President Cup Squad after he was named in the squad in 2015.
 
To date, Anirban has won18 professional titles which include two European Tour Tournaments.
