She was a studious child and while she was in college veteran director Imtiaz Ali visited her college and gave her the role of Sanjukta in his film Tamaasha in the year 2015. The movie failed and she too didn't got noticed. Post that, she relocated to Gurgaon and started working in a private sector company. Her passion for acting was alsways there and hence she started sending her audition tapes to various casting directors. Imtiaz Ali roped her in again to play love interest of Kartik Aryan in his rom-com Love Aaj Kal 2 in 2020. The film was a huge hit and her performance too was hailed.
