Arzoo Govitrikar was born and brought in Mumbai. She completed her engineering and never thought of becoming an actress. It was her sister Aditi Govitrikar who influenced her to become a part of the industry and she started modeling.
She started her modeling career by appearing in some commercials and soon got an opportunity to act in a Malayalam movie titled Kakkakuyil in the year 2001. After which she appeared in few more south Indian films and some famous Hindi films as well such as Baghban and Mere Baap Pehle Aap among others. She has also appeared in various TV shows such as Ek Ladki Anjani Si, Ghar Ek Sapna, and Naagin among others.
