He was a Pakistani Cricket Player who played as a right-handed batsman for Pakistani domestic cricket and became the 1st-class umpire in 1998. He around umpired 170 matches including 98 ODI, 49 Test & 23 T20I. From 2006 to 2013, he was a member of the Elite Panel of ICC Umpires.
