She is a high-spirited and quirky actress. Her passion for acting is well depicted in her choice of roles which are quite challenging. Her love for acting was hereditary as she was born to Victoria Carroll and Michael Bell, which are the well-known names in the Hollywood industry.
She did her graduated from New York University in Tisch School of Arts in 2007. She studied acting and directing at Cambridge University where she was awarded the "Best Actress" for her character of "Ophelia". After that, she lent her voice to the movie “State of Play” in 2009.
Ashley Bell made her debut in the supernatural horror movie The Last Exorcism. Her performance was well appreciated and bagged her Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actress for the same movie. She is the most loved face in and across numerous dramas/ plays in Los Angeles and New York City.
She is keenly involved with the documentary "Elephants in Crisis" which is based upon depicting the arrest of two Asian elephants from a Cambodia till their rescue and release in a Wildlife Sanctuary.
Ashley Bell’s has lent her voice to many popular video games such as “Erline" in Sony PlayStation's Sorcery and the famous White Queen character in the famous animated series Alice in Wonderland. The versatile actress is well recognized for her character of Tonya in the TV series ‘The United States of Tara’. Apart from this, she was a part of Boston Public, CSI, The Walking Dead: The Oath, Don’t Wake Mommy and A Neighbour’s Deception.
The versatile actress has also proved herself in ballroom dancing, horse riding, boxing etc. She is an active member of the organization conducting charity for the adoption of animals.
