Barsha Priyadarshini Complete Bio & Career
Barsha Priyadarshini grew up in Cuttack. She always wanted to bcome an actress and thus she started her career as a fashion model. She soon started getting movie offers and she finally made her acting debut through the Benagli film Baazi in the year 2001. That film went unnoticed and so was she. She then made her Odia film debut through the film titled Sabata Maa in 2003. She though meanwhile enjoyed a successful modelling career and finally after 7 years, she landed another role in Swapan Saha's Benagli film Jor in the year 2008. This film was a huge hit and she too was highly praised for her performance. After that there was no looking back.
In the next couple of years, she did as many as 5 Bengali films such as Golmaal, Love Story, and Hashi Khushi Club among others. Since 2010, she has concentrated only in Odia films and is arguablly one of the best Odia actress of recent times. She has worked in 30 Odia films thus far and has worked with the best in the Odia film industry. Her latest film Nimki which was a political drama created a lot of controversy though. She played the role of Nibedita Naik in this film and was released in the election year (2019) any many said it was BJD's attempt to draw voters to their side.
