Bhushan Kumar Dua was born on 27 November 1977. He is a music composer and producer by profession. He also heads the T-series as its chairman and managing director. He primarily works in Bollywood. He changed the nature of the T-series by getting it involved in CDs, videotapes, cassettes, and electronics. He took the T-series to new heights. Electronics and software export promotion council honored him for popularising Indian music abroad and worldwide.
 
He gave the soundtracks for the films titled Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani, Chennai Express, Lootera, Cocktail, Desi Boyz, and Ra.One. Soundtracks of older films were also released by him like Paa, Fashion, Om Shaanti Om, and Jab We Met. Besides this, he also produces devotional albums. It is with his efforts that today Indian music has spread to 24 countries. He also encourages new talent. The singers which are well known today like Fakir and Himesh Reshammiya are only due to his efforts. He also did a music album with Atif Aslam titled Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon Main. The album features actor, Tiger Shroff. He did not limit himself and made his mark in the film industry too.
 
Some of his successful movies include Ready, Bhool Bhulaiya, and Tum Bin. He started producing films in 2001. The movie titled, Aashiqui 2 produced by him became a turning point in his career. The movie was a big hit. Other films which he produced are Yaariyan, Bhoothnath Returns, and Creature 3D.
