Bob Saget was born on 17-05-1956 in Philadelphia in the state of Pennsylvania, United States. He was an American Comedian, Television Presenter, Television Personality, Television Actor, Film Actor, Theatre Actor, Voice Artist, Screenwriter & Film Director who was well-known for his stand-up comedy.

Saget was born to a Jewish household in Philadelphia on May 17, 1956. Benjamin (1917–2007), his father, was a supermarket executive, and Rosalyn "Dolly" (1925–2014), his mother, was a hospital administrator. Before returning to Philadelphia and graduating from Abington Senior High School in 1975, Saget lived in the Encino district of Los Angeles. The comedian wanted to be a doctor at first, however, Saget's Honors English instructor, Elaine Zimmerman, spotted his artistic potential and guided him to pursue a career in filmmaking.
Following a brief appearance on CBS' The Morning Show in early 1987, Saget was cast as Danny Tanner in Full House, which became a hit with family audiences and landed in the Nielsen Top 30 with season three. Saget had hosted America's Funniest Home Videos in 1989, and he continued until 1997. He worked on AFV as well as on Full House at the same time in the early 1990s. He returned to AFV for a one-hour special commemorating the network's anniversary, which also he co-hosted with Tom Bergeron. The 1996 ABC television film For Hope was directed by him, which was based on the life of Gay Saget and his sister, who died three years earlier from scleroderma.
In 2014, he published his book Dirty Daddy, the book was about his comic influences, career and life and death situations. In support of the book, he planned a modest tour, including the Pemberton Music Festival, where he introduced Snoop Dogg before doing his own set. He made his first trip to Australia in the same year with his stand-up act and Bob Saget Live the Dirty Daddy Tour. The play was staged in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth, among other major cities.
He appeared in two episodes of Grandfathered, starring and produced by his Full House co-star John Stamos, in 2015 and 2016. Saget appeared in 10 episodes of Fuller House, including the series premiere and finale, from 2016 until 2020, reprising his role as Danny Tanne. He was named the host of ABC's Videos After Dark in 2019. Saget was also the host of the CMT game program Nashville Squares. Saget debuted Bob Saget's Here For You with Studio71 podcast in 2020. Bog Saget had competed as "Squiggly Monster" in season four of The Masked Singer.
