Bullet Prakash was one of the most popular actor of Kannada film industry. He mostly did comic roles and appeared in nearly 325 Kannada films. He got the nickname ‘Bullet’ because he rides a Royal Enfield Bullet. The famous actor was seen in famous Kannada fims such as ‘Jackie’, ‘Bombay Mittai’, ‘Bheeshma’, ‘Mast Maja Maadi’ and others. ‘Mehabooba’ was the last Kannada film he appeared in. He has also acted with Kannada film industry stars like Puneeth Rajkumar, Darshan, Shivarajkumar, Upendra, Sudeep and others. In 2015, he decided to join politics and joined BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party). His mother was also a member of BJP and it was she who advised him to join the party. He also participated in the 2nd season of Bigg Boss Kannada. He was a close friend of actor Darshan and together they have worked in various films. He also remained in news after his verbal spat with Dinakar Thogudeep and it was actor Darshan who came to the rescue and helped in compromise between the two.
