Burak Ozcivit was born to Ceyhan and Bulent Ozcovit. He completed his schooling from Kazim Ismen High School, Istanbul. Burak Ozcovit’s charming looks and a well-built physique made him suitable for modeling. In 2015, he won the title of Best Model of Turkey. But the young and talented Burak wanted to pursue a career in acting, hence he completed his degree in Bachelor of Arts from Marmara University (Istanbul), Faculty of Fine Arts.
 
Ozcovit’s story is a model turned television actor to a movie star. In the early 2000s, he worked for numerous modeling agencies. He then debuted in a television series named Eksi 18 (2006) playing the role of a police commissioner. He then appeared in many television series like Zoraki Koca, Baba Ocagi, and Ihanet. He starred as Cetin in Kucuk Solar, the Turkish adaptation of the famous American television series Gossip Girl.Immediately after his debut in television series, he entered the film industry in 2007, in Musallat. Post that he signed his next film as a dubbing artist in Zarafa (2013). He has acted in other movies like Ask Sana Benzer(2015) and Kardesim Benim (2016).
 
Ozcovit’s accomplishments include the title of Best Model of Turkey in 2005 with runners-up position in Best Model of the World. Apart from this, Burak Ozcovit has numerous awards under his belt. He won the GQ Men of the Year Award in 2012. Next year, he won the Galatasaray University Bests of 2012 Awards in the category of Best TV Actor. Both these awards were for his work in Turkish Historical fiction television series Muhtesem Yuzyil (The Magnificent Century). In 2014, he won four more awards in categories like Best TV Actor, Best Style Actor of the Year and Most Liked TV Actor. This hardworking and good looking actor has tasted success many times and till date has won 10 awards and has been nominated six times in the category of Best Actor/ Best TV Actor.
