Camron Complete Bio & Career

Rapper Camron was raised in Harlem. He attended Manhattan Center High School and made friends with one of his basketball teammates Mason "Mase" Betha, who went on to become a successful rapper. He joined a small college in Texas but soon dropped out and returned to his hometown, Harlem and started dealing in drugs before becoming a rapper.
 
Cam'ron first came to recognition with his single "Pull It," in 1998. His single "3-5-7" was used in the movie titled Woo. His single "Horse & Carriage," featured his friend and rapper Mase. It entered the R&B Top Ten and just missed out the pop Top 40. Cam'ron's debut album Confessions of Fire went gold and was on the list of Top Ten of both R&B and Pop charts. His single "Feels Good" which featured famous rapper Usher also made it to the R&B chart top 10. His single "What Means the World to You" announced the release of Cam'ron's life story sophomore album, Sports, Drugs, and Entertainment.
 
In 2002, Cam'ron made his acting debut with the Damon Dash produced the film, Paid in Full, in which he played the lead role alongside Wood Harris and Mekhi Phifer. In 2006 he commenced shooting a movie for his album titled Killa Season. The film marked Cam’ron’s directorial and screenwriting debuts, as well as his return to acting.
