Chinmoy Roy was a renowned Bengali film comic actor. He began his career with the Bengali film titled Galpo Holeo Satti in the year 1966. This film marked the beginning of what was about to come. For the next three decades, he was a constant figure in Bengali films and has worked in around 100 films. He was last seen in Jamai No. 1 in the year 1998. After a gap of 15 years, he made a comeback in Rajib Bali’s film titled Sudama The Half Man. He wanted to work again with Rajib Bali as he was so impressed with his direction. His health though didn’t permit him taking up any roles after this film.
